VBS 2024

Join us for our VBS at RPC Bowie this summer if you are a child between ages pre-K and rising 6th grade! This year’s theme is a film production, where everyone has a role to play. Our Bible lessons will be based on a selection of Jesus’ parables, through which we see the Gospel of Jesus Christ unfold.
As usual this week will include crafts, games, snacks, and music to keep us busy as we see God’s history of redemption told through some of the parables that Jesus told.

“PRODUCTION” DETAILS
Over the course of the week, we will be considering Bible passages such as The Parable of the Birds of the Air and the Flowers of the Field, The Prodigal Son, and The Parable of Salt and Light. Through these parables we will learn of the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Along with our Bible lessons, we will watch the filming of the movie “Marvelous Man and the Chasm of Doom” in the daily skits. Here we will see the story of an actor who is cast in his most important role ever. Will he rise to the occasion, or will he “break a leg”? Come find out at “Lights, Camera, ACTION!”
