We have the wonderful privilege of hosting singer-songwriter Sandra McCracken for a concert at RPCB on Friday evening, May 3, at 7:00 PM.
Sandra has written songs for the church and was one of the original writers of music for RUF. She will be singing songs from her Dove Award winning album, “Light in the Canyon,” as well as her latest collaborative project, “Paper Horses.”

Sandra McCracken is a Grammy-nominated and Dove Award winning Christian singer-songwriter and hymn writer from Nashville, Tennessee. A prolific recording artist, McCracken has produced 17 solo albums over two decades. Blending the old and new, Sandra has shown a unique ability to recast sacred scripture texts into theologically rich yet accessible songs.
Here’s what Sandra says about this concert: “Alongside special guest Taylor Leonhardt and a fantastic band, we’ll dive into two decades of my music, including songs from my ‘Light in the Canyon’ album, and my latest project, ‘Paper Horses.’
“This tour is more than concerts–it’s about community. We’ll share songs that have comforted and inspired us, from hymns to folk to bluegrass. It’s a chance to connect, to sing together, and to celebrate the stories of these songs.”
